Marineland Bio-Filter Balls provide a large, multifaceted surface area that promotes the growth of Bio-Spira bacteria and the beneficial ammonia-neutralizing bacteria responsible for biological aquarium filtration. The bio-filter balls fit all Marineland C-Series and Magniflow Canister Filters and are compatible with Marineland Rite-Size S, T and X. Each pack contains 90 bio-filter balls.
Gently rinse monthly in established aquarium water. Replace only if damaged or if accumulated dirt cannot be rinsed away. Never replace more than half of the bio-filter balls within a 3-month period.
